Chula Next Energy Initiative is a university project that aims to accelerate Thailand's energy transition towards carbon neutrality by 2050. In 2024, the Chula Next Energy Initiative, generously sponsored by the Royal Academy of Engineering (RA Eng) Frontiers champions Tranche 4, is set to unveil the missing puzzle piece in Thailand's energy transition. Frontiers Champions, by the Royal Academy of Engineering, propels global collaboration by bringing together Frontiers networks dedicated to tackling global goals. Located worldwide, these Champions play a key role in convening peers through regional or thematic events, fostering an international community of researchers, innovators, and practitioners. Focused on advancing networks, Frontiers Champions utilize funding to organize community-building activities like networking events, webinars, meet-ups, and workshops. This initiative puts agency in the hands of the Frontiers community, ensuring a collective effort to address complex global challenges through impactful interdisciplinary collaboration.
